I am all fired up right now – in a good way. 
I am very excited as I see God at work around me and in me. Here are some of the things that I am excited about:
My marriage: Since Lauren and I have come back from Memphis our marriage relationship has gone to a whole new level. I am enjoying the new openness in our marriage incredibly. I know that there is still a lot of work to be done to continue in this new level of openness in our relationship and I am excited to continue on in this journey.
My health: I have now officially lost 8 pounds in the last two weeks and I am feeling the benefits of this. The biggest benefit I have felt so far is that my back doesn’t hurt so much when I am sleeping. Since getting the treadmill I have been walking every night (I have been averaging around 2 miles total a day) and reading . My goal is to lose at least 35 pounds. I know that this is not going to be easy but I am excited about my progress so far.
My ministry: I am very pumped about what is happening at our church. Over the last several months we have been taking some “risks” and we have stepped out of our comfort zone and I am loving it. In my five and a half years here I don’t think I have been this excited! I am looking forward to continuing to be stretched in my faith as I trust God to lead and direct us as a church.
