Speroway - delivering hope to need children

Speroway is an international non-profit relief organization that responds to

“the needs of  children and their families, in Canada and around the world, by providing food, medicine, education and other essentials with Christian love, compassion and integrity” (from the Speroway website).

Speroway (formerly Feed the Children Canada) has been in existence since 2004.  From day 1 their priority has been to ensure that donations are used for the benefit of hungry children and families from Northern Ontario to Central America and Africa and Asia.

Help raise $1,000,000 for charity:water

At the beginning of May, my blogging friend Matt from Becoming Last invited me to join him in an ambitious adventure to help raise $1,000,000 in the month of June for charity:water.

charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. 100% of public donations directly fund water projects.

You may be wondering:  Why raise money for water?

Almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water.

Unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of all disease and kill more people than all forms of violence, including war.

Water is important!

Water changes everything!

Here are several ways you can help:

1. Put this badge on your site:
