Over the last six months or so I have not been very kind to my body.
I have gained weight.
I have been eating way more junk food than I should.
I have not been exercising regularly.
As a result I am feeling tired all the time and I have been way more susceptible to getting sick.
Not any more!
Today I am going to start being kind to my body again!
I am going to start walking 20 minutes a day.
I am going to eat smaller portions at meal times.
I am going to say “NO!” to the evening snacks.
I was reminded of this statement today:
Be kind to your body. You’ll only have one.
This hit me like a tons of bricks.
I only get one shot at this.
I can’t just go and get a replacement.
I have to take care of the body I have!
When I am kind to my body I feel better not only physically but mentally and spiritually as well.
I am able to focus better.
I have way more energy.
I don’t get sick as much.
These are great motivations for me.
I want to challenge you to be kind to your body too.
Make a decision today to start living a more healthy lifestyle and then make a plan on how you are going to do it.
