I cannot imagine going through life without being loved by someone. That to me would be one of the worst things that can happen to any person.
I know that there are lots of people who do experience this and my heart goes out to these people but I am thankful that I have been blessed by love.
Blessed by love
I have been blessed with the love of loving parents both as child and as an adult.
I have been blessed with the love of a loving wife for the past 19 years.
I have been blessed with the love of my children over the last 13 years.
The greatest of all blessings is that God loves me.
But as great as these blessings of love have been to me the greatest of all blessings is that God loves me. And I hope that you have felt and experienced that incredible love of God as well.
Nothing can compare to this and I don’t think we will ever fully understand just how much God loves us.
God’s love is unfailing or steadfast.
In Hebrew, the word “unfailing” means “an eager and ardent desire” and refers to the fact that God’s love never gives up.
The thing that finally gets to us, breaks the back of our rebellion, and sets us free from our emotional hang ups is the unqualified love of God which never lets go.
We might use a term that is more easily understood in our day.
Instead of “unfailing or steadfast love” read “unqualified acceptance.”
That is what God’s love does. It accepts us without reserve.
3 ways we should respond to God’s love:
1. Consider the great love of God for you.
I challenge you now and throughout this day and this week to truly consider God’s love for you.
I know that very time I consider God’s great love for me I am completely overwhelmed.
I don’t think I will ever fully understand God’s great love for me because He is continually revealing new aspects of His love to me day by day
Probably one of my greatest moments of beginning to understand God’s love for me was when I became a parent As I think about my love for my children, I begin to get a glimpse of God’s great love for me.
2. Proclaim the great love of God.
Verse two of Psalm 107 says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say this” or as the KJV says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”
That is, let the redeemed of the Lord proclaim God’s great unfailing love.
One of my favourite hymns is “Redeemed” That hymn starts out, “Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it!” I hope that you can say that with gusto today, “Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it!”
3. Show the great love of God.
Because God’s love is so great and He has demonstrated that love to us, we need to show that same great love to those around us.
We need to show the same unconditional love that God has shown to us.
We need to be looking for practical ways to show God’s great unfailing love to those around us.
How are you going to live your life in light of God’s love for you today?

So thankful to experience His love every single day in so many different ways. It doesn’t always feel that way, but He is loving and kind and working all things to good. He will change my perspective if I’ll allow Him to. Great stuff, Kevin. Thanks.

Hi Kevin
THX for giving the love to us.
Yes God is LOVE and so many time we don’t
give love to others, the the world think that God is not a loving God ,no matter how you see God.God is not a religious thing He is God or the Creator of every one of us and we need to show love so that people can see Him in us.

Theuns

Nothing is more important, period. His love, His acceptance, His encouragement, His gentleness in prodding me to make changes… not only for His sake, but for mine. He can always find someone else to do whatever the “job” or “service” is if I fail to move forward and mature, but He’ll try to bring it around for my sake.
And it’s an everyday, every moment, heart turned towards Him, filled with appreciation and rejoicing.
God’s love for us should be the solid foundation that we stand on as we go forward in life.

Such a beautiful post! I really like your point on the special relation between God and human. The love of God is the purest love ever, and it’s really unconditional.
God’s love is indeed unconditional and I am so thankful for it!

God’s love is the greatest love of all. We are so lucky to experience God’s unconditional love to us. Lenten season has just happened and this he perfect timing for us to renew our relationship with God and to proclaim how great is the love of God given to us.
Excellent thoughts Divina!
