If you want to make your life count, if you want to win in life, if you want to succeed in life, you must want to win. You must have passion!
As I watched interviews of different athletes during the recent Olympic Games in London there was a common denominator among every one them, no matter what country they came from, and it was this: they had a desire to excel.
They had a passion to win. They ate it, they slept it, they talked it, they thought it, and they lived it. They were not just messing around.
They had passion. They had a deep desire to achieve, to excel and to set records.
What is passion?
Passion is the driving force within us that motivates us to action and focuses our life’s attentions.
It is what turns our crank.
It is what motivates us to get up in the morning.
It is what really gets us going.
If you want to make your life count you must have passion!
You must have desire.
You must know what you really want in life so you can go for it!
What are you passionate about? What is it that turns your crank? What is it that motivates you to get out of bed in the morning? What really gets you going?

Love it!

Nothing just happens. Hunger, passion, vision, determination–we need all of that to press into the best God has for us! I am passionate about my God, people (including my marriage and family), worship, expressing creativity… I am very passionate and the more I know Him, the more passionate I become! Thanks Kevin.
Great points Jason!
Thanks for sharing.
Same thing with blogging, If you don’t have passion on the topic or niche of your blog you will end up quitting.
Excellent point! Very true!
Thanks for sharing.
So true! I think that there is no success without passion, we all have to be passionate about what we do for a living!
Yes we do!
Thanks for sharing Mokus!
In everything we do that we want to succeed in, we need to have at least some amount of passion. It does not matter if we want to just pass our grades at school, or win at sports games, or get promoted for doing job well done if we do not put a certain amount of passion into it. For those who are really serious and would like to go to the extreme, they will of course tend to be very passionate and motivated about the things they do. Being passionate about something, you know, and being able to accomplish it, is what actually makes one happy. Being happy about what we’re doing is all that matters to us in the end.
Living out our passions definitely gives us joy, happiness and fulfillment!
