It is time to check in again for the Ragamuffin Top challenge that Carlos is hosting over at Ragamuffin Soul. This is week 9 for me and after 9 weeks I am still at ZERO weight loss! I did lose the two pounds that I gained in week 8 but I am still at the big fat ZERO for total weight loss. Oh well . . . onto more positive things to report. This past week I RAN 2.25 miles – wahoooooo! The Couch to 5K program is DEFINITELY working. I also managed a 10K walk this week as I am training for the Coast to Coast Foot Roast.
This week I also joined another program (I am such a program guy). This program is called 100 push ups. The goal is in six weeks to be able to do 100 push ups at one time. That is a LOT of freaking push ups!! You start off by doing an initial test to see where you are and I did 20 push ups to start – which pleasantly surprised me. Then over the course of the week you do three workouts that get more difficult each time. I will finish week one tonight after I finish this post.
So, I still haven’t made any headway on my goal to lose 31 pounds but I am making good headway on my goal of running 3 miles!!
