so tempting to go through the motions of living instead of actually engaging. It somehow makes us feel less accountable but it’s not really living.
I know I want ALL that God has for me, even the growing pains! Though I need extra grace to get through those pains (wink).

Honestly, a few years ago I was so disappointed with people that I decided it wasn’t worth it to keep pushing when it seemed no one else cared about pursuing God. I tried not caring and just getting by as far as God is concerned. It didn’t take me long to become completely miserable! I have experienced something real and pressing through is hard, but living for less is harder. Good message, Kevin.

I actually experienced this kind of feeling just 2 weeks before. I normally try to do everything I can just so I can keep everything under control, but it seems like there was one day that whatever I do, things are happening not the way as I planned it, but when I gave up expecting what has to happen and said that God will help me get through.. I think He heard me and for the first time that “unlucky” day, something turned out okay, which is even better than I had expected. God really works in mysterious ways.
