- Crazy day today!
- Service, church family lunch, planning meeting and then Jr. Youth group tonight. This is supposed to me slowing down!
- Jr. Youth group was INSANE tonight! We doubled in numbers (went from 6 to 12 and I was planning for 6. I am getting too old to be running around with a dozen 10 year olds.
- How would you take this comment “I have never heard a sermon like that before . . .”
- Preached on becoming an emotionally healthy adult today. Used the Good Samaritan as an example of someone who had a mature love.
- This IS the week that I AM slowing down!
- I am not preaching next Sunday because it is the Sunday School Christmas program. I am going to use my time this week to do some serious planning for the New Year.
- Canucks struggled this week.
Luongo needs to get healthy and get healthy SOON! - Went to the doctor on Friday . . . he has ordered a bunch of routine tests (diabetes, thyroid, etc.) Process of elimination I guess.
- Christianity Explored finished this week . . . I am going to miss it. It was definitely worth doing!!
- Watching “The Amazing Race.” I LOVE this show!
- Ate out 4 times in 3 days last week. It is no wonder that Pastor’s are overweight.
- I played Mario Kart Wii lots with my girls this week. That is a FUN game! Does anyone else out there play?
- My wonderful wife ROCKS!
- I slept to 9:30 am yesterday . . . I don’t remember the last time I did that. It felt good!
- I actually fixed some stuff around the house yesterday . . . that rarely happens.
- I am done for the night! Time to relax.
Sunday’s Random Thoughts
I do some Wii gaming sometimes, particularly while riding the exercise bike. It justifies the time spent gaming, and it actually helps me forget that I’m burning calories and getting tired.

I don’t have Mario Kart yet… perhaps I’ll get it for Christmas.
