The best way to kill a blog is to NOT post for days on end!
Contrary to popular belief, I am still alive and well. We had a great time at the FEB BC/Y Convention. I will hopefully write a post about that tomorrow. I would have blogged earlier but we haven’t had much down time and we have had limited access to the Internet. Surprisingly (to me and maybe to others) I am enjoying my “unplugged” time. This is the most I have been away from a computer in a LONG time. It is good for me (I think
We are looking forward to the next few days to catch up on some rest before we head to New York on Wednesday.
I hope all is well with you!

Hon, I enjoyed your unplugged time:)
Even good bloggers have to rest sometime
We miss you, but blogs of your quality don't die away that easily.
We'll still be here waiting when you get back!
Have a great time.
That limited access to the internet is a blessing. I look forward to my next dead zone.
I have toyed with the idea of unplugging and recharging (I known that sounds counterintuitive to those who do not blog) for an extended period.
I wonder if the setback to my blog would be offset by the new energy it might find from the hiatus.
Thanks Peter! I always appreciate your encouragement.
I have too!
It is indeed! This week will be about the same for me as we head to New York. The hotel we are staying doesn't have free Wi-fi so I will be unplugged once again!
I would be a liar if I said that the numbers didn't matter to me but the "setback" to my blog has really become a non-issue. I am stats fanatic and it is encouraging to see that others are reading what I am writing BUT ultimately this blog is about me journalling what God is teaching me. I am hugely blessed as I write down my thoughts. It helps me to process what I am learning and it helps me to be accountable to follow through with action. A very nice side blessing is the ability to interact with others (I thoroughly enjoy this aspect of blogging). I hope that the relationships that I have developed with others will continue even if my blogging is few and far between at times.
Take some time to unplug and recharage Andy . . . it is well worth it!
Rest is good and I am going to continue to take advantage of my opportunity to rest over this next week.
Thanks for the encouragement! If I unplug it will be in a month or so, but I do appreciate the advice.
Glad you're having a wonderful time. I know what you mean about the downtime, it's very nice. I love blogging, but everything needs a break now and again!
Watch out for the White House flying planes over Manhattan! yeesh.
THERE IS NO DOUBT YOU WERE MISSED kEVIN!
Downtime is definitely good and necessary
